I have tried to freeze it. Had no problems. Just had to take it out and defrost it for a couple hours and really stir it well with a spoon or a fork.

This was delicious. I was skeptical that the potatoes would give an acceptable texture, but it really oozed out of the jar like nacho sauce. I boiled the garlic with the potatoes as raw garlic can be too harsh on my stomach. I’ll definitely make again.

We liked the taste but I added twice the ACV and nutritional yeast to the recipe. Just to improve the tangyness a little. These are just personal preferences. At the end I added dry mustard to taste, we liked it a little more. I would soak the cashews next time, they were hard to get completely smooth. Thank you for the recipe. It will be our #1 staple for ” tangy yellow sauce” We have yet to come up with a name for vegan ch**se.

Hi Robin, the vegan cheese will keep for about 5 days in an airtight container in the fridge. I don’t recommend freezing it because it can separate when it thaws. I don’t have a volume yield for this recipe, but it typically serves about 4 people. Hope this helps!
