I substituted a 16 oz can of diced fire roasted tomatoes (Drained) for the tomato paste. Worked well!

I will add chickpeas to a dish given the slightest opportunity. I wanted to add my favorite way of using Romesco sauce: on Patatas Bravas! I had the dish at a tapas restaurant in Vegas and loved it that way.
