These were fantastic! I have fond memories of making dumplings with my family for Chinese New Year. They were always made with pork – as a vegetarian I don’t eat them anymore, but these dumplings were a delicious alternative! Subbed chopped soy curls in place of tempeh (just don’t like tempeh that much), which I sautéed with the shiitakes. I prefer my dumplings boiled, I simmered them 3-4 mins. Yum!

In reply to Emily. Hi Emily & Paige, it's possible that a regular metal steamer basket could work, it just wouldn't fit as many dumplings so the process could take awhile.

Have you tried making these with wonton sheets? would like to use what I have in the fridge. thanks
