The burger is as a bit messy, but flavor was right on. Did not have and tamari but only used Balsamic vinegar and it was good, next time I will use a bigger more dense bun and smaller mushroom.

Made this tonight but didn’t have access to a grill. The Portabella were so thick I was worried they wouldn’t get cooked through( never had such a thick mushroom before). So I sliced them anbout 1/4 thick and threw the ingredients in a bag. Shook gently and cooked them on the cast iron skillet. They were absolutely delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

I have been making these for a few years, ,
but I add cooked Rice and black lentils
or sometimes a fried egg
In the stem after it’s cooked.
As it adds Protein to this meal.
I also put this on toasted sour dough bread etc.
my husband says this is better then a juicy
Meat hamburger any time.
