I don’t pride myself on my baking skills, but this recipe is very simple to follow and turned out delicious exactly as written. I will definitely be making again and may experiment next time with increasing the spices for a bolder flavor and/or adding chopped walnuts or pecans for more texture.

In reply to Ashley. Hi Ashley, it should work if you half the recipe (or make 2 minis). They'll bake for a shorter time, so I'd just start checking early.

Delious! Easy and quick to make. I used cloves instead of allspice. Loved it!

Only substitutions I made were avocado oil instead of vegetable oil and homemade pumpkin/squash puree instead of canned. I don’t remember if I reviewed this last year when I made it. This is perfectly moist and not too sweet bread. My family loved it!
